Little Women literary candle is inspired by celebrated Louisa May Alcott’s novel about four sisters coming of age in the Civil War era. Over 150 years later it is capturing another generation of readers, thanks in part to a recent adaptation from director Greta Gerwig.
"If one girl likes another, she gives her a lime; if she’s mad with her, she eats one before her face, and doesn’t offer even a suck". It is intriguing to think of limes as a social metaphor for status and acceptance. The scent for the Little Women literary candle is called Amy's Limes.
